“倒数No.1”是一个综合媒介装置。作品中一片凝固成形的沥青放置在废旧材料拼凑而成的拖车之上，随着时间的推移，沥青受环境和重力影响缓慢形变。装置不时发出从各种事件中截取的倒计时播报音。
人造沥青是一种可从石油中提取的物质，可被视为一种““液态化石”。其在室温下呈现为固态，而实质上是一种粘性极大的液体，会持续地经历缓慢的形变。以这种呈现地质时间尺度的性状微妙的物质作为倒计时播报音的载体，从而使得人造的线性时间系统无效化，成为单纯的、无始无终的声响。
作品受龙星如策展项目“当盖亚屏住呼吸”、北京新世纪当代艺术基金与美凯龙艺术中心会支持。

"Countdown No.1" is a mixed-media installation. In the work, a piece of solidified asphalt is placed on a trailer made of scrapped materials. Over time, the asphalt slowly deforms under the influence of the environment and gravity. The installation intermittently emits countdown sounds clipped from various events.
Man-made asphalt, a substance that can be extracted from petroleum, can be regarded as a "liquid fossil." It appears solid at room temperature but is actually a highly viscous liquid, undergoing continuous slow deformation. By using this subtly behaving material, which represents geological timescales, as a carrier for the countdown broadcast, the man-made linear time system is rendered ineffective, turning into a mere, endless sound.
