网络缩略语是一种把词汇、短语或句子的缩略形式，常由一组字母构成。这种形式见诸与中文、英文等各个语言之中，并且具有极大的解读自由度。比如GG-哥哥（中文）/Good Game（英文），ZZ- 转载/政治/智障（中文），NMSL - 你妈死了（中文）/ Never Mind the Scandal and Liber（英文）。

Online abbreviations reduce words or phrases to combinations of letters that can carry multiple meanings across different languages and contexts. For example, “GG” can mean gege (“older brother”) in Chinese or “good game” in English. “NMSL,” originally a Chinese internet insult, has also been playfully reinterpreted as “Never Mind the Scandal and Liber.” Beyond everyday online communication, such abbreviations can be used to disguise offensive or sensitive expressions.
Abstract Oracle Generator is an interactive divination device that uses a physical random number generator to produce sequences of letters in response to questions visitors ask silently. Visitors activate the device by striking a copper singing bowl. A Geiger–Müller tube detects ionizing radiation in the surrounding environment, providing a source of physical randomness. The resulting random numbers are converted into combinations of letters displayed on an LED screen.
In a sense, an oracle generated from unpredictable physical events might seem more impartial than traditional divination or computer-generated pseudorandom numbers. Yet the resulting letter combinations have no fixed meanings. Like internet abbreviations, their ambiguity leaves room for visitors to interpret them in their own ways.
